The shoe itself is light weight but rugged, reflective and good looking. I like the wide sizes and find it comfortable. The service (I understand is from "Road Runner Sports") was all that can be expected (as has been all my shopping experiences on amazon.com). I went for the free shipping and my shoes arrived ahead of schedule and for the price quoted. Overall I am a very satisfied customer. -- Excellent shoe, outstanding service.

the classic New Balance 993 cannot be beat; well constructed, pleasing gray color, made in the USA, what's not to like. These run 1/2 small so order up. The amazon.com price is terrific; I do not know why [...] another amazon.com company is still selling these for list price of $139
Get the new balance yankz bungee cord lace system $8 sold on amazon.com, these bungee laces make on and off a breeze. They do take a few minutes to adjust but then you are home free. The gray with black look great on these shoes.
Sure there are better running shoes; and the real devoted runners will choose something different I have the new balance 1121 and these are better. But for a great quality USA made shoe with every size and width imaginable, the classic new balance 993 cannot be beat! -- Simply the best for over 30 years
